4/09/2012 · I recently installed Office 2010 and quickly noticed that it takes much longer to open attachments in Outlook. The attachments are generally pdf files or Excel workbooks.... This seems not to change the mimetype file in my case. doc will open word on the PC , jpg the windows viewer for picts etc, pdf will open the pdf viewer stated in the registry. mimetype remains still the same.
